Who determines the hospital and travel schedule?
The treating team determines clinical eligibility, the procedure and the expected recovery plan. Ask them what needs to be confirmed before setting a return-flight date. Discuss accommodation access, transport and companion needs with the coordinator once the clinical plan is available. A booking request is not a confirmed surgical date.
How should follow-up be organized?
Before departure, ask for the discharge summary, implant record and written follow-up instructions.
